Corporate Farming in Mankera
In a unique collaboration with local farmers, Rizq launched its three years Corporate Farming Initiative in Mankera.
The program aims to bring innovative and sustainable agricultural practices to the region, to not only increase yields, but to also provide market access to the local farmers.
Key Highlights:
- 50 acres of developed land, while 25 acres of undeveloped land is part of the program
- 2 wheat, and one crop each of sesame and millet have been harvested.
- Green technology is being employed for water channelisation and tubewells.
- Use of state-of-the-art agri-tech for water efficiency and yield optimization
- Proprietary Farmer Management Dashboard for real-time monitoring and traceability
